Submission Guidelines

SUBMISSIONS CLOSED

– We are seeking work that is original and will leave us thinking. We encourage you to be explorative. We accept previously published work, given that you retain rights to the piece and let us know where it was originally published. 

 

– We respond within 72 hours. We believe in letting you know as soon as possible whether or not your work is the right fit for Twin Flame Literary. 

 

– We are based in the United States. Our mission involves amplifying all voices. If you are based internationally, we will expedite your submission and respond within 48 hours. 

 

– Twin Flame Magazine acquires First Serial Rights for original work (or Reprint Rights for previously published work). After publication, all rights revert to the author. We retain the right to archive the work on our website with proper credit. All other rights remain with the author.

How to submit:

– send your work to twinflameliterary@gmail.com

 

– title your email [GENRE] Author Name. For example, if John Doe was submitting an essay, they would make the subject line [ESSAY] John Doe

 

– Attach your writing as a PDF, but DO NOT put your name or any identifying information on the document.

 

– In the body of your email, include a brief third-person bio, and let us know if you are an international submission.

Prose

– submit two short stories up to 6,000 words at a time. 

Poetry

– submit three poems at a time, no length limit. 

Essays/Creative Nonfiction

– submit one essay/creative nonfiction piece at a time, up to 6,000 words.
