Passionate about literature and the rhythm of language, Andreea Maria-C, a junior in high school, approaches prose with both a critical eye and a compassionate heart. An ardent lover of music, she understands the cadence of words as intimately as a melody, shaping narratives with sensitivity and depth. Empathy fuels her editorial vision, allowing her to honor the soul of a piece while refining its form. And like her favorite color, red—bold, intense and full of passion—she gives life to the profound meaning of every story she touches.

Dani González (she/they) is a Mexican American writer who was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, near the Texas-Mexico border. From a young age, Dani immersed herself in books, engrossed by the characters and worlds other writers created, leading her to want to create stories of her own, many of which revolve around queer and/or Mexican American characters and their experiences. Having recently graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with an MFA in Creative Writing, she hopes to continue writing stories that resonate with others, and in doing so, making them feel less alone, the way other people’s writing has done for her.
