“Witchy Woman” plays & the Eagles don’t know
that I know that brujeria lives in the hair –
curly & wet & coarse & coffee
rich mystic mujeres
sirenas con cabellos sin cortas
wild thicket women
overgrown in the face of a mad psychotic cosmic
I love the shock & awe you adorn me in–
Pelo on my pillow
Pelo in my car
Pelo stamped to the side of the steamed shower
aftermath like a warning sign saying:
werewolves live here
How right you are are – all of you
I know you like I know the backs
of my own hands or the tops of my Hobbit feet
Let me love you like the artista’s unibrow in Mexico City
grow mis peludas everywhere
& anywhere aquí y allá
en las estrellas y las sombras del luna
Mi amor mis amantes
I know to never untangle from a blessing
